Qualys launches AI-Powered cybersecurity platform to automate vulnerability remediation

Qualys has introduced TruRisk Eliminate 2.0 with TruConfidence, an AI-powered cybersecurity solution designed to help organisations automate vulnerability remediation while reducing the risk of disrupting business operations.

Announced on 14 October 2026, the new offering combines remediation intelligence, automated patch deployment, and orchestration capabilities to support the company’s vision for Autonomous RemOps.

The technology is intended to help security and IT teams identify appropriate responses to cyber risks, manage software updates, and verify that remediation activities have been completed successfully.

Automating Cyber Risk Remediation

TruConfidence uses AI-powered remediation intelligence to determine how vulnerabilities should be addressed across enterprise systems.

Rather than automatically deploying patches in every situation, the technology evaluates existing security controls and recommends appropriate actions based on the risks identified.

These can include software patching, applying alternative security controls, removing vulnerable software, or isolating affected systems.

The platform also supports automated remediation across cloud environments, applications, perimeter devices, and endpoints.

According to Qualys, the technology draws on experience gained from approximately 500 million patch deployments, with a reported rollback rate of less than 0.1%.

Reducing Operational Disruption

A key focus of the launch is improving confidence in automated cybersecurity processes.

TruRisk Eliminate 2.0 introduces AI-powered patch reliability scoring, intelligent deployment scheduling, and monitoring capabilities designed to identify potential operational issues following remediation.

Through integrations with technology partners, including Dynatrace, the platform can monitor system performance and identify issues such as increased processor usage, memory problems, and service disruption.

“Autonomous exploitation requires an equally automated remediation, but organizations’ hesitation isn’t about automation, it’s a lack of confidence that it won’t cause an outage”, said Sumedh Thakar, President and CEO of Qualys.

Qualys says the new offering aims to help organisations address cyber vulnerabilities more rapidly while maintaining business continuity.

TruRisk Eliminate 2.0 with TruConfidence is generally available, with existing TruRisk Eliminate customers eligible for a free upgrade.
