AGIBOT celebrates Chinese New Year with robots

AGIBOT, a leading Chinese robotics company specialising in embodied intelligence, made a high-profile appearance at the United Nations Headquarters in New York during the Chinese New Year celebration hosted by the Permanent Mission of China to the United Nations. The event, themed “Galloping Forward With The United Nations”, brought together senior UN officials, diplomatic representatives and international guests to mark the Year of the Horse.

During the celebration, AGIBOT’s humanoid portfolio made a collective debut at the UN Headquarters, becoming one of the highlights of the evening. AGIBOT A2 Series, full-size humanoid robots, performed live Chinese calligraphy demonstrations and engaged in natural voice interactions with guests. AGIBOT X2 Series, half-sized compact humanoids, delivered energetic dance performances, interactive gestures such as heart-shaped greetings for the New Year, and a series of high-difficulty kung fu routines, earning enthusiastic applause from the audience. AGIBOT D1 Series, quadrupled robots designed for inspection and operations in complex environments, appeared in panda and traditional lion dance costumes – symbolic elements of Chinese culture – interacting closely with attendees throughout the event.

Building on its full-stack technology capabilities, AGIBOT has delivered more than 5,000 robots globally in 2025, achieving large-scale deployment across its core commercial application scenarios. Today, AGIBOT is actively beginning to expand the deployment of its humanoid robots into real-world markets across the Asia-Pacific, North America, the Middle East and Europe, supporting early-stage applications in key industrial, commercial and service sectors.

Looking ahead, AGIBOT will continue to place innovation at the core of its strategy, deepen international exchange and collaboration, and contribute to building a more open, inclusive and sustainable global ecosystem for technological cooperation.
