IBS Software, a leading AI-driven product company in the travel technology sector, has announced the appointment of Christophe Roux as Senior Vice President and Head of Passenger Solutions. In this role, Christophe will lead the company’s Aviation Passenger Solutions (APS) business globally, overseeing strategy, growth and delivery across passenger service and airline retail solutions.
Mr Roux joins IBS Software at a pivotal moment for the airline industry as carriers accelerate the shift toward modern, customer-centric and AI-enabled retailing. Following the company’s recently announced Strategic Collaboration Agreement with AWS to develop an AI-first retailing platform for airlines, Christophe will play a central role in shaping the evolution of the Passenger Solutions portfolio and scaling its impact worldwide.
With more than 25 years of experience in airline IT, Christophe has led large-scale technology transformation and commercial innovation for airlines worldwide. He began his career at Amadeus in Europe, helping shape the foundations of airline IT solutions, before moving to Asia Pacific to support the company’s expansion. He later joined the Emirates Group, serving in senior leadership roles in the IT and Commercial organisations, where he led critical modernization initiatives and strategic technology investments. Most recently, he led the airline business in the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa for Amadeus where he oversaw significant growth.

Based out of Dubai, Christophe will be reporting to Chief Executive Officer, Somit Goyal and serving as a member of the IBS Software Senior Leadership Team. The appointment further reinforces IBS Software’s commitment to leading the industry’s transition to modern airline retailing.
